New Features

  • New Weapon Types: Sword, Hammer, Spear, Bow. Each has unique attacks.
  • New Offhand Type: Shield. Gear equippable on the offhand while not using a two-handed weapon.
  • New Ammunition Type: Arrows. Equippable ammunition which is consumed when attacking with a bow.
  • Lock-on. Player can lock-on to enemies during combat to focus the camera and show the enemy health bar..
  • Control Remapping. Added a menu for remapping controls.

New NPCs

  • Craftsman. Knows something about weapons, and has some things to sell.

New Gear

  • Devotee Blade. Equipped at the start.
  • Rock Hammer. Two-handed, slower, higher damage.
  • Soldier Spear. Longer range.
  • Soldier Bow. Two-handed ranged weapon fires at targeted enemy. Consumes arrows.
  • Soldier Shield. Negates damage received when blocking.
  • Simple Arrow. Required for using the bow.

New Items

  • Healing Powder. Stronger and rarer than the herb.
  • Prismite. Colorful stones used to mark paths, or for decoration.

Changes & Improvements

  • A new section has been added to the dungeon.
  • Inventory updates- context menu allows the player to discard items, improvements for controller use.
  • Camera updates- changed fov, defaults to being centered on player head, wider range of sensitivity.
  • All health and damage values have been adjusted.
  • Player model and animations updated.
  • Player can dodge cancel some actions.
  • Blocking without a shield does a fraction of the attack’s damage.
  • Changed some prices and item descriptions.
  • New health bar visual.
  • Minor tweaks to collision, textures, and lighting.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug where the player could unlock a locked door by looking at it and leaving.
  • Fixed a bug where player could block the damage from falling in a pit.
  • Other minor fixes.
